In the Netherlands students can buy SPSS legally for 15
euros, which I think is a very smart marketing trick. This
way there is no way I can convince my collegues that I
should teach Stata instead of SPSS. Ones our students
finished their education they will continue to use the
program they were initially taught, and let their company
pay the full costs of a business license.
