Hello!

Does anyone know Gilovich Vallone and Tversky (1985)=E2=80=99s paper "The H=
ot Hand in Basketball: On the Misperception of Random Sequences"? In this p=
aper, they analyze the conditional probability such as P(hit|1miss), P(hit|=
1hit), P(hit|2hit) as well as serial correlation.

Now I have a similar dataset at hand with variables including "game number"=
, "player number", "hit or not" (this is a binary variable), =E2=80=9Cshort=
count=E2=80=9D etc. How can I use STATA to calculate such conditional prob=
ability and serial correlation?

Thanks a lot!!
