Dear Gabi:

You should maybe try the folowing:

Prefs menu >general preferences > windowing tab> click on "make windows float (excluding results)" box

Best regards

In Stata 9, if I click on the results window, the command window
disappears behind the Stata screen. To use it, I need to call it back
from the taskbar. It never did any such thing in Stata 8. I'd like to go
back to that. Does anybody have an idea how?

Thank you,
Gabi
