Hi,

many suggestions have been made to format the table more nicely. The part of
Ying's question, however, how to output the results directly to Excel has
not been answered yet.

You could consider to -collapse- your file (eg. collapse (mean)
m_expov2=expov2 (count) n_expov2=expov2 , by (calmon) ) and then -outsheet-
it in an tab- or commaseparated textfile, which can easily be opened with
Excel (eg. outsheet using export.csv).
This kinda solves the formatting problem as well as the actual unformatted
numbers will be written to the .csv file.

Dear listusers,

I use Stata 8. Here is the output I generated. For the N(expov2), the
number is sth. like 1.80e+07, but I actually want the real number. How do
I specify it?

   calmon | mean(expov2) N(expov2)
----------+---------------------------
 2000 Oct | .0634935 1.80e+07
 2000 Nov | .0559704 3.61e+07
 2000 Dec | .0599429 5.41e+07
 2001 Jan | .0613797 7.23e+07
 2001 Feb | .0608688 7.24e+07
 2001 Mar | .0570004 7.24e+07
 2001 Apr | .0577895 7.24e+07
 2001 May | .0586258 7.25e+07
 2001 Jun | .0602535 7.24e+07
 2001 Jul | .0632536 7.25e+07
 2001 Aug | .0616009 7.25e+07

Besdies, other than the tedious copy and paste, is there any way I can
output these results to the Excel directly?

Thanks a lot,
Ying
