The svy commands changed in version 9. The reason you are getting different results in version 9 is, I believe, because corr_svy does not work right with files svyset in v. 9. Note that in the output, corr_svy says pweight = none, even though you set pweight in your svyset command. Indeed, your results are almost identical to what you get with

pwcorr female black height, sig
