Hi ,
I've read a document from J Valcours that you had an ADO file for probit
analysis in STATA. I have a trial of spinal anaesthesia with a new local
anaesthetic. The aim is to approximate the ED50 dose by a sequential
allocation design. The dose for each patient is determined by whether the
dose given to the patient immediately previous in the sequence. If the
prior dose was ineffective then the next dose is increased. If effective
the next dose is decreased. In this way the dose given oscillates around
the ED50 dose. Probit analysis then creates a dose response curve from
which the ED95 is determined. I have tried to do probit analysis with STATA
but I'm not sure how to input the data so that the successes (marked as S
or 1) is recognized at each of 6 dose interval. If you have some time
could you email this to me? I'm off on Long service leave at the end of
next week.
Thanks
Geoff
