Hi Statalisters,
I am trying to use the GLLAPRED command in GLLAMM to recover the posterior means of the random effects, but stata always report the same error message:

. gllapred eb , u
(means and standard deviations will be stored in ebm1 ebs1)
insufficient observations
r(2001);

My problem was originally with an ordered probit model with one random effect (intercept) , but I also tried to replicate the example in the GLLAMM manual on page 39 (i.e. using the jsp.dta data), and the same error message came up.

I am using most updated version of stata 8.2. Any suggestions on what to do with this problem ?

Thank you very much for your help,
J-F
