Dear Hans,
I used outreg as well to generate regression tables and there were also
some weird things happening. Now I'm using the "estimates save 'model1'"
and "estimates table 'model1' 'model2'..." commands, which work very well
and provide almost all options available in the outreg commands. You then
just copy the estimates table output as table and paste it in excel or
something comparable...
