I don't know what to make of a model that includes the response variable among the excluded instruments. If sholdinc is on the LHS, it should not be elsewhere in the model.

 Dear all,
Can someone give advice on how to use predicted values after ivreg2. I
use

ivreg2 sholdinc lnsize nivinst2-nivinst4 oldcm age age_gap tr
tail2-tail5 strate3 wolof (deptet = sholdinc txeff1 ), first

After estimation, i would like to use the predicted values of
"sholdinc" and "deptet" . Is that possible ?
Yes for sholdinc, no for deptet. -predict- after -ivreg2- works
exactly the same way as it does after -predict-, so the on-line help
for the latter is all you need.
