The proxy settings are in "Prefs/General preferences.../Internet"
Your sys-admin will need to tell you what to put in the boxes.

my institute got a new firewall and since then Stata cannot connect with
the internet to update ado-files.
My system-administrator told me to set a new proxy-server but I’ve got
no idea where/how I can do that.
Any suggestions?
