The example below is little more than behind-the-curtains fiddling after
you've noted the CI values, but it's a start:

. twoway histogram x, xlabel(-50(5)40) xline(-36.36756 17.32514)

Of course, -xline- submits its (red) lines under the histoblocks, which
may or may not be what you want.
