Dan Egan suggested that there should be some way of cleaning up SMCL files created in the process of generating HTML files via Baum/Cox/Rising -log2html-. Although one could use tempfiles to make the SMCL files impermanent, this would also make the resultijng HTML files impermanent and require that they be renamed. So -log2html- has been revised to include an -erase- option (which, naturally, must be spelled out), directing that the SMCL file be removed after processing.

The revised -log2html- is available from the SSC archive.
