Dear Nick and Kit:

I thank you for your suggestions.

I tried mat2txt and it worked with both tabstat and statsmat. (So far, I
prefer statsmat because, with tabstat and tabstatmat, the name of
variables is replaced by Total for each variable, which is not very
nice).

Best regards

Herv

If you don't know what a LaTeX (note
cute capitalisation, itself not quite
the official version) table
is, it is certainly not useful to you,
although a Google might reveal a world
you are missing.

My guess is that -mat2txt- from Michael Blasnik
and Ben Jann would be the most direct answer
to your question. Use -findit- to find it.
