Have look at the help files. They are well done, and should be sufficient if you are familiar with "categorical dependent variables". Moreover, the authors provide some examples do-files, that might be helpful. Otherwise if you want to know more about categorical dependent variables, you might consider investing in this book. It looks quite nice, and may be a very good choice if your favorite statistical package is called Stata ...
