Kit Baum has been kind enough to post an entirely new re-write I have made
to the censored Poisson regression program that was first published in STB 46
(Nov 1998), now some 6 years old. The original STB article was written by
Dean Judson and myself.

The new version is called -cepois- and has been written using Stata version
8 code. It allows nearly all options available for ML based programs,
including p-weights, robust SEs, and so forth. Like the older version, called
-cenpois-, it allows both noncensored, right censored, and left censored
observations.

I have also added a new program called -svycepois-, which is a complete
survey censored Poisson regression program.

These programs were written under a federal grant project, under the
direction of the BYU Department of Sociology. I thank them for enticing me to
re-write the older version; I would not have done so otherwise.

Type -ssc describe cepois- to find a description of the files, which include
related help files for both the standard and survey programs. To install,
type -ssc install cepois-.
