Stata is Stata. Nothing really changes with Unix, but if you want to invoke a do-file from the command line, you may do

$ stata -b do foo

assuming you have foo.do at hand. The command

$stata -h

will tell you about the other Unix-specific options (which are covered in Getting Started...for Unix).
