Hi,

I am trying to specify no autocorrelation in xtpcse, by typing c(i) and I
consistently get an error message that the data is not sorted. No amount
and variety of sorting I have tried works, and I don't really think it is
the problem. Could this be a glitch in Stata7?

Here is what I am doing exactly:

tsset panelvariable timevariable

xtpcse depvar varlist, het c(i)

I get a reading of the number of gaps in the sample and then a message
'not sorted' r(5). What is causing this and how can I fix it?

Thanks
