Nope I get....

Try....

. which stack
/usr/local/stata/ado/base/s/stack.ado
*! version 3.2.0  01dec1998

It could be that the ado file has been accidently removed.  Updating your ado files might 
resolve the problem (I have the 01 Sep 2004 set of ado's currently installed).
