If you mean in the Variables window, you can:

set varlabelpos 25

or whatever number is long enough to display the full varnames.  If you mean
in the command output, it depends on the command, but many do not let you
specify different amounts of abbreviation.  If you mean in the browse
window -- I wish I knew.
