Dear All
With regards to a nested logit form where at the first stage there are 2 choices
to be taken and at the second stage there are 5 alternatives if the choice 1 is
taken and 8 alternatives if the choice 2 is taken. I cant use a nested logit
because the independant variables entering in the utility function are
nonlinearly transformed. so far i have tried to estimate the parameters using
nonlinear maximization. nl.
I would realy appreciate any help.
