With respect to StatTransfer: To send the link to my SPSS script "spss2stata.sbs" was a reaction to Richard Williams' comment to Suzy (Wed, 02 Jun 2004 15:57:23 -500), but unfortunately I did reply to an earlier mail of him. Here is the correct one:

At least with respect to the MD codes (even with respect to missing date-values such as 9.9.9999), the script seems to solve this problem (although, I personally had no chance to test StatTranfer, yet).
