Hello statalist users,
I am doing a decomposition of the gini coefficient for a health variable
into between and within income groups. My health variable is continuous,
but it ranges between -0.360 and 1 (with increments of 0.001). There are
705 values < 0 and the stata command "ginidesc" drops them from the
analysis. Does anyone know how to keep them in the calculations? If not,
is there any way to deal with this problem (eg, rescaling)? Thanks a lot
for your suggestions,
