Just in case this might help!
I am using Windows XP and in the accessories, system tools you can find
a character map. Some of the subscripts and superscripts and be found
there. For exampe alt 0178 will give you the 2 superscript in arial
font. I just tried it in a twoway graph and it worked. Obviously not
all of the subscript and superscripts will be there but maybe you be
lucky and get the one you need.
