Hi all,

I am trying to run the nlogit command and having difficulty setting up the
syntax correctly. I have two levels with three possible decisions. Here is
what i have:

Dependent variable:  dichotomous
Y1=dichotomous (and the exact same var as the depvar)
Y2=three options
(Y1 is the first decision, Y2 the second)
3 dummy variables for each of the possible decisions (D1, D2, D3)
Group=the number of cases
Independent variables

so the syntax i used is:
nlogit depvar d1 d2 d3 (y2=ind var) (y1=ind var), group (grp)

i get "outcome does not vary in any group"

Can anyone tell what I've done wrong?

Thanks in advance.
