[Previously sent with inappropriate title.
Sorry. Nick]

Thanks to Kit Baum, the FAQ on text editors and Stata at
http://fmwww.bc.edu/repec/bocode/t/textEditors.html
has been revised recently.

This is a user-written FAQ designed to give general
and specific guidance to those using text editors
in conjunction with Stata. The highlights among
numerous changes in this FAQ include a new section on
WinEdt and much new material on Macintosh editors.

One fact striking to me is the large number of text
editors for which some form of Stata syntax highlighting
(colouring) is available, 13 being mentioned in
all. This in total represents a very substantial user
effort!

It is also a pleasure to note that this FAQ represents
the combined work of some 29 Stata users.
