Weiwei,

The version is 8.2, however -parmest- is not part of official Stata but a
user contribution. You can find it using findit (-findit parmest- in a web
aware Stata will locate the appropriate files for you). -findit- can be
used to search for other user contributed programs, Stata Journal programs,
FAQs, ect.

In addition, Roger Newson has made his pre-publication draft of his Stata
Journal article "Confidence intervals and p-values for delivery to the end
user." The Stata Journal 2003; 3(3): 245-269 available at
http://www.kcl-phs.org.uk/rogernewson/papers.htm

Hi Scott:

I tried this in Stata 8 but parmest is not recognized. May I know what
version of Stata you're using??

Thanks!

Weiwei
