Thanks Roger for the help. I was wondering whether I cound get a Stat version 7 for "parmby" command? I have stata7 and all I get on the web is version 8 of parmby.

The Stata 7 version of -parmby- is available on my website, and so are the Stata 6 and 5 versions. In Stata, type

net from http://www.kcl-phs.org.uk/rogernewson/

and choose your version of the -parmest- package (which includes -parmby-).
