Hi

My personal fix is to add this to my .emacs:

 (custom-set-variables
  '(ess-S-assign " _")
 )

It is not elegant, since it will insert '_' also in Splus files - but it
works. I would be interested in a better solution, if anyone has any.

Best,

Henrik
