John,
Type the command
log using johnsresults
When you're done recording results, type
log close
Then go to where your data usually defaults to. For me it is in c:\DATA\. There find the file called Johnsresults.cmsl. You can open this in Wordpad or Notepad.
Best,
Tewodaj

Good day,

I am doing some simulations, and would like to output specific results to a
text file and appropriately append at the end of each simulation. Is there
an easy way to do this in Stata?

Thanks much.
