Hmm. Most interesting. I wouldn't have thought regress to have the same
results as the ttest. This is something to ponder - and pass by the rest of
the group (everything decided on by committee, so change is tough. These
stats are being performed to support an investigation at a hazardous waste
site).

The EASIEST thing to do is Richard's approach with creating a new variable
with n+x. But trying to explain that to the public could be tough, agreed.
But then, so are stats in general.
