Dear statalisters:

I have the data set from Caulcutt & Boddy book Statistics for Analytical
Chemists:
concentration (x): .002 .003 .005 .008 .012
absorbance (y): .12 .14 .27 .40 .52
After doing the regression of y on x, the idea is to observe some y (.1 , .2
, .4 say) and predict X with its confidence interval.
I tried the -confx - command, but could not identify what are the variables
depvar (y?) indepvar (x?) yobsvar (? ? ?), since I have just two variables.
Thank you for any help.
Jose Maria
