st: pcAnywhere and Stata

I use pcAnywhere to remotely operate my office computer from home.  If I 
start up pcAnywhere and put my office computer in "host" mode, then cancel 
the host and exit pcanywhere, it takes 2-3 minutes for Stata to load.  If I 
reboot my computer after using pcAnywhere and then start up Stata it only 
takes a couple of seconds to load.  Has anyone else encountered a similar 
problem and/or know if there is a fix?
