st: family(multinomial)?

I'm interested in fitting unordered nominal responses
with other than the logit link function (of eg, -mlogit-);
something like

. glm _depvar_ _indvar_, family(multinomial) link(log)

which would correspond to the DIST=MULTINOMIAL in SAS' GENMOD
procedure.

Is there some way to trick -glm- into handling multinomial
responses? Maybe I'm missing some obvious solution/obstacle.

Thanks,
Jeph
