Ganesh,

I'm afraid I can't help you with your problem with Box Plots in
Stata8 as I use Stata 7, however.....

I can't speak for others on the list, but the two messages that
you've posted I only recieved about 2h 40mins apart.

You shouldn't epxect an instantaneous response, as the list is
global, so some recipeints who might be able to answer your
question may actually be asleep, or working.

Wait a little while and someone might answer.

You can actually access all of Stata 7's graph functionality by
using either the version command (type -man version-), or more
directly by using -gr7- commands (sorry but someone else will
have to enlighten you with respect to this, as I've not used Stata8).
Either that or the manuals will indicate how to access the old graph
functionality.

You might also want to check that you have the most up-to-date
version of the executable which you can do by typing -update query-

Regards

Neil
