After running some logistic regressions, I received two messages on dropped
variables:

- (variable dropped due to estimability)

- (variable dropped because constant)

Can anyone tell me what variable conditions these messages are indicating?
For example, what is it about a variable that causes stata to drop it
because of 'estimability'? Or alternately, can anyone tell me where/if stata
discusses such post-estimation messages? I used findit and noted an article
on 'dropped variables' but it focused on 'collinearity' and did not mention
'estimability' or 'constant'.

Thanks,
Wendell Joice
