TextPad has a good on-line help of its own, which should help you a lot.
Try the menu sequence Help->Help topics and type in the keyword "tools".
You might also like to associate file extensions such as .do and .log with
TextPad, so that, if you click on a do-file, then it opens it in TextPad
instead of running it.
