SSC is indeed an excellent site, but moving all independent user
-net- sites to it moves in the opposite direction of the idea of
a Stata -net- "web".

Individual authors would probably like to have a 'whatsnew' feature
added to -findit- and -net search- so that when they publish updates,
those updates will be easily seen by Stata users.  Such a feature
is definitely on our 'todo' list.
