of freedom correction is n-k, where k=# of params, which can be set to n
by adding vardef=n after itsur in the command line above.

What is the default for Stata, and how can it be changed?
help sureg will tell you, and show you the options by which you can change it to apply a dfc if you wish (check out dfk, dfk2, small options).
