Visit with Stata developers at JSM: July 31–August 5

Roberto G. Gutierrez (director of statistics), Yulia Marchenko (senior statistician), and Jeffrey Pitblado (associate director of statistical software) will be available at the Stata booth during the 2010 Joint Statistical Meeting (JSM) to answer your questions on all things Stata. Also attending is Bill Rising, director of educational services. We will have books for sale and items to give away. Stop by booth 200 for a chance to win a copy of Stata/MP2 with PDF documentation.

On Wednesday, August 4, 2010, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM, Jeffrey Pitblado will conduct a workshop, Survey Data Analysis with Stata (code CE_28T). Knowledge of Stata is not a prerequisite, but a basic understanding of statistics is assumed. Later that day, from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM, Roberto Gutierrez will conduct the workshop Multilevel and Mixed Models in Stata (code CE_32T). The cost to attend a Computer Technology workshop is $55.00. Participants can register onsite through JSM’s registration desk.
