Stata presentation contest for students

The aim of the contest is to promote the authors of presentations using Stata software for econometric, medical, financial, or statistical analyses and to popularize state-of-the-art analytic methods using Stata software in scientific research.

The contest is open to all students 35 years old or younger. Apply at the contest website and submit a rough draft of your presentation by September 25, 2012. Presentations will be judged by a contest board consisting of scholars from the leading Polish institutions of higher education. The winning presentation will be selected by October 12, and the final, complete presentation from the winner is due by October 15.

The prize is a perpetual license of Stata/SE 12 and the opportunity to present your paper at the 2012 Polish Stata Users Group meeting on October 19.
