Dictionary for Clinical Trials, 2nd Edition
Comment from the Stata technical group
The Dictionary for Clinical Trials, Second Edition is a handbook
defining all terms relevant to clinical trials and the statistical issues
therein. The science of statistics, in its application to all scientific
fields, is conducive to interdisciplinary research. When clinical
researchers and biostatisticians work closely with one another, they must
share a common language and understand each other’s terminology.
With more than 3,000 definitions—organized alphabetically from “a
posteriori” to “Zelen’s single consent
design“—this dictionary is a great reference and a valuable
addition to the library of any practicing biostatistician or epidemiologist.
